There are 12 members of the School Council at Balfour Infant School. Twice a year the classes in Year 1 and Year 2 elect two children to represent their class.
The role of the School Council is to bring their class’ voice to the meetings and form decisions based on what is discussed. The children have the opportunity to share ideas collected from their peers by attending School Council meetings every couple of weeks.
The class representatives take great pride in their role and enjoy wearing their badges so members of the school can identify them.
