SEND & Inclusion

Balfour Infants is an inclusive infant school where all children are welcomed and successes are shared and celebrated. We are committed to ensuring all children are able to achieve their full potential by working in partnership with children and parents to meet the needs of any pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

We believe that every child has the right to be the best that they can be and provide children with opportunities to develop their talents and abilities, enabling them to be successful learners and reach their full potential.

We endeavour to support learners in overcoming any barriers of learning that they may have.

At Balfour Infants, we foster a child centred approach, which means that we make time to listen to children, seek their views and put them at the centre of SEND processes.

We acknowledge that parents and carers know their children best and we work closely in partnership with them.
