Dear Parents and Carers,

We are delighted to share that we will be celebrating World Book Day with a range of exciting activities designed to inspire a love of reading across the school.

To make the day extra special, children are invited to come to school in their pyjamas and bring along one of their favourite books to share with their classmates. Throughout the day, pupils will take part in a variety of fun, book-themed activities.
We are also thrilled to welcome a visiting author Ted Dewan, who will be leading assemblies for the children in Years One and Two and running exciting workshops with Year R.

If you would like your child to purchase a copy of the author’s book and have it personally signed, please send £6.99 in a named envelope by Wednesday 4th March. This will allow us to ensure there are enough books available for all who wish to buy one. Children who bring in payment by the deadline will have the opportunity to choose their book and have it signed during the author’s visit.

We look forward to a wonderful day filled with stories, imagination, and lots of reading fun.
